Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 June 2026
1. Who we are
Luna Care (“Luna”, “we”, “us”) is a telehealth platform operated in Nigeria that connects patients with MDCN-verified medical doctors for asynchronous questions and 45-minute video consultations.
2. Not for emergencies
Luna Care is not an emergency service. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency services or visit the nearest hospital immediately.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian, to create an account. By creating an account you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.
4. Doctor relationship
Doctors on Luna are independent licensed professionals verified against the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN). Luna provides the platform; clinical decisions and advice are the responsibility of the doctor providing them.
5. Payments
Where consultations are paid, fees are clearly displayed before booking. Refunds are handled case-by-case where a doctor fails to attend or the consultation could not be completed for reasons attributable to us.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: do not impersonate others, do not upload illegal or harmful content, and do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users’ data.
7. Termination
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, that pose a safety risk, or where we are required to do so by law.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Luna Care’s liability for any claim arising out of your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated in-app. Continued use of Luna after a change means you accept the updated terms.
